Margaret Lovell, My Options Lead
Margaret has specialised and worked in the care of older people for 35 years. During that time she has represented Cornwall Care in many of its services. The My options Service provides support to people in the community who are caring for a relative with dementia or other age related illness. She has had experience of being an informal carer and understands the emotional and practical difficulties the role brings. As a qualified Social Worker, she is a registered member of the General Social Care Council and is also a trained counsellor. Margaret supports the Wadebridge and Camelford Memory Cafes and is also the Carer Support Worker for Garner Ward, Bodmin Hospital. In addition, Margaret is an Internal Verifier for Cornwall Care’s Training Department.
Margaret is based at our Bodmin home, Athelstan and can be contacted on 07867783728.
