With extensive and glorious views of the sea, Headlands is situated in the village of Carbis Bay, near the seaside town of St Ives. A former hotel, Headlands is a charming and beautiful building with traditional and attractive features.

 

Those living with us at Headlands enjoy the freedom to come and go as they please, taking advantage of the lovely walks close by. A relatively small residential home with 32 bedrooms, it offers relaxed and comfortable accommodation with a real ‘family’ atmosphere.

 

At Headlands we offer care for clients requiring residential support. There is an intimate feel to the home and those living with us have the full freedom to do what they want to do, when they want to do it. Always there to lend a helping hand, our staff are relaxed, helpful and dedicated to the comfort and contentment of those they care for.

 

The people living with us are a lively group! Enjoying baking and good old fashioned bingo they value each other’s company and the harmony of living together. Working with Truro Museum, we hold ‘reminiscence sessions’ in various forms and our staff thoroughly enjoy hearing stories from our clients’ pasts and sharing memories of days gone by. As well as enjoying the past, we also enjoy the present! We love to visit the beach, shops and nearby cafes and members of the local church come into the home every week to conduct religious services.
